COMPETITION CONDITIONS
1. This event is being run under PCAQ Rules & Regulations.
2. PCAQ requires that all riders produce their PCAQ "Membership" Card on the day of competition. This is in addition to grading cards where applicable to the class entered. The PCAQ membership number must be included on the event nomination form.
3. Riders who are 12 years and under may ride a graded or ungraded horse but should only enter a horse they normally ride at Pony Club. No performance card is required.
4. Riders in Grades A, B, C, D and Pony & Galloway must be 13yrs of age and over, performance card required.
5. Ponies or Galloways must not exceed 15hh. Riders may choose either Pony & Galloway or a graded class but may not compete in both at the same fixture. Starting height for Pony & Galloway 90cm, maximum height 1.1m. Performance card is required
6. Two Horse Rule - Riders may enter one competitive horse in the Official Programme and one competitive horse in the Unofficial Programme OR two (2) horses in the same section, one of which MUST BE RIDDEN (HC). Please note on the entry form which horse is to compete (HC). A (HC) horse must compete after the competitive horse.
7. Power & Speed will be run under PCAQ Ruling 74.2.3.
8. Riders competing in graded classes can not in Classes 6, 7 or 8.
9. One horse, one rider.
10. Performance Cards for horses in classes 1-4 inclusive, must be handed in when collecting back numbers. Grading Performance Card Number must also be stated on the Entry Form.
11. BACK NUMBERS: One club delegate is responsible for collecting & returning back numbers. A $5.00 deposit per number is required & will be refundable on return of back number.
12. No Substitution of rider is permitted under any circumstances.
13. Mounts may be substituted before the commencement of the event upon presentation of a Veterinary Certificate or a written statement from the Club Chief Instructor. If substitution is made, the replacement mount must be eligible within the PCAQ rules.
14. PROTESTS: Must be made in writing to the Event Organiser within 30 minutes of posting the results and must be accompanied with a $20.00 Fee.
15. Competitors must provide adequate rail stewards & time keepers for the day, or entries will not be accepted.
16. The Organising Committee reserves its right to combine/split classes according to the numbers nominated and the rules governing splitting of groups
17. NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS.

Rules & Conditions
Judges decision is FINAL. All protests in writing to be lodged to the ring master within 30 minutes with a fee of $40.00
Riding boots, Formal club uniform and helmet (AS3838 or better) must be worn by all riders
PCAQ approved riding gear to be used, refer to Gear Check Book.
In the case of a tie there will be a run off to decide placing
Park Ridge Pony Club and PCAQ’s code of conduct will be in effect. Bad language, excessive striking of horse or abuse or disrespect to the judge will result in elimination and nomination fees will be forfeited.
Points will be awarded 6,5,4,3,2,1 and in the case of a tie in an age group there will be a count back.
Alcohol policy as per PCAQ rules
All events run under PCAQ rules.
One horse one rider, one rider, one horse rule applies.
PCAQ membership cards may be asked to be shown when nominating.
